Synopsis (From Goodreads)

Trinity Flores stumbled upon the Sawyer family when she needed it most.

She was broken, lost, and looking for a new beginning.

They gave her love that most dream of, unconditionally devoted to her well-being.

The large, overbearing, protective, bullheaded Sawyer men vowed to keep her safe, and—of course—at times drove her crazy.

When Chase Douglas came to town, he hadn’t expected to do anything other than help his ill grandmother. Then the new deputy caught sight of the shy, blonde-haired beauty and it was impossible not to want to know her more. But he had no idea the torment he was about to face, or the obstacles he would encounter from the Sawyer Brothers.

They didn’t make it easy for him to win her heart. He had to prove himself first, and that just made him fight harder to prove he was the right man for her.

Gaining Trinity’s trust was his number one goal.

Because in Chase’s eyes, no one deserved the love of a devoted man more than the woman who captured his heart.

My thoughts on Trinity’s Trust

WARNING: This MAY have spoilers. You’ve been warned.

Coming back to the story of the Sawyer Family was not as easy as I thought it would be. Considering I previously read the 3 brothers books one after the other, and Olivia’s book came out not much later after I did that, it was fresh in my mind who was who and their personalities. This is time it took a little to remember, but it came back relatively quick after the re-introduction of the brothers in this particular tale.

Trinity is a woman who has suffer a lot and I have to give it to her, because coming out of what she came out was amazing and she prove she is stronger than anybody, even herself, thought. This is a female character with mental scars and nightmares, with good reason, but that came the other was and was able to find it in herself the strength to trust again, little a time, to get to her happy ever after.

Chase is a cop. A hot one. And also a gentleman with the most incredible heart you have ever seen in your life. Hi jumped into action when he heard his grandmother was ill, even when his parents disapprove of him going to help her, even with all the horror stories about the character his grandmother was and the way she terrorized people, according to his family. This man just up and left everything to help an old lady that didn’t want to be taking care of but loved every second of those moments when she got under his skin. And he loved and respect the old crazy woman.

This story is a sweet and loving way of showing how two people can meet after bad situations and bring the best out of each other. There is no way to explain it better that the way C.A. Harms did by telling this love story. Specially after reading some of the latest chapters and specially the one with the old lady against Chase parents.

Reading western novels it’s something that just soothes my soul or something. I know that when I need a good romance book for relax time and I want one of those romances that just made you melt, most of the time, with the gentleman male character that treats you like a lady and shows you what fun life can be… I always go with western stories.

C.A. Harms got me hooked with the series for a while, and I thought the last book was going to be Olivia’s book but I was wrong. I just hope she keeps on writing so we can keep on reading this beautiful stories about love, personal growth, respect, discovery of one strengths and more. Also because the men of her books are just so hot you can’t miss them, and so great you’d want one for yourself.

Quotes

You’d never guess this perfect, sculpted, yummy as hot fudge on a sundae, topped with all the cherries and whipped cream a girl could handle, man came from the same blood line as Mrs. Willard, but he had.

“No,” I said a little too loud and he chuckled. “I mean yes. Or wait a minute. No, my silence doesn’t mean no, and yes, I’d love to have dinner with you.”

I had the urge to climb this man like an oak tree or rub up on him like a cat.

Call it the hero syndrome, call it whatever you want. But I called it seeing something I wanted, and finally growing tired of wanting from the sidelines.
It was time I went after what I wanted.
I was going after the girl.

Ever seen Bridezilla in the form of the father? <– Can I add, personally, that I really believe this is a possibility with Liv’s dad??

c-a-harms-logoA little about me. Let’s see where to start.

I love HEA stories, as long as they come packing a little heat. I need some excitement, some angst, and moments that make me fan my face are always good too. I am an Illinois girl, born and raised. Simple and true, it honestly doesn’t take much to make me happy. I love the little things; they truly mean the most. I may have a slight addiction to my new Keurig—oh my, that thing is a godsend. And so fast too. I have two children who truly are my very best friends, and their faces never fail to put a smile on my face. I have been married to my husband for sixteen years, and even though at times I want to beat him with a stick, I would never change the years we have had. We have learned and fallen, only to pick each other up, dust off the ache, and help each other make it right.

I am one of those authors that adore my fans. I love to hear from you. After all, it is because of each one of you that I continue to write. I look forward to your feedback.
