My Review

Allie moved to Montana to run a medical center and she thinks she may have made a mistake by doing so.

Dex is Allie’s landlord and a beloved member of the community. These two can’t stop bickering and we all know what happens after, right? *wink*

The characters were fantastic in this story. I loved them so much, including the secondary ones. It was done in a way that made me smile the whole way though.

I can’t get over how funny it was for me to read this book. Allie was a hoot and take-no-prisoner’s kind of woman and Dex… Oh Dex was just so strong in himself and had a good sense of humor. Both together were a perfect match.

Writing wise, I read the copy that my friend gave me in Spanish. The translation was on point and I loved the way the author came across telling the story in a funny but sweet and sexy way.

On top of everything else I loved about Codi Gary’s story, I’m giving this book 5 Stars because the Spanish copy I read had a fabulous translation. Usually I hate reading translated book but this one was the exception.

Note: I own a paperback copy of this book in Spanish and that was the one I read during The Reading Rush 2019.

About the Author

From the time I could put a Disney Book cassette into my little stereo, and read along, books have held a fantastic distraction. When I was eleven, I decided I wanted to be one of those magical people that brought stories to life. Devouring a book a day sometimes, my first romance novel stuck with me. I’ve always been a sucker for a happy ending (and the great romantic gesture)and that’s what I try to put into my stories. I am so honored to be a part of Avon and am so excited to have my own dreams coming true.
