The Emperor’s discovery of a compatible female on a slave ship changed that. [Book Review] I Am Mercy by Mandi Lynn

I have to say, it was a huge surprise for me to find an email from Mandi Lynn with an ARC of this book when I check my account Wednesday September 9th. To say I was shocked would be the understatement of the year. You’ll see… I have not yet received an ARC like this and when I apply to try for “I Am Mercy”, after the cover release I’ve made, I really wasn’t expecting to get it!

Top that with the fact that I have been following Mandi on Youtube since before Essence, her first novel, was out to the public. You can imagine how lucky I felt. And the day next to that I was drowning myself in “I Am Mercy” until the wee hours of the night until I finished it. That was on September 12th, just so you all know *laughs*

The reason why it took me a little while to post this is because I want it to get the review a little closer to the end of October, considering the book it’s being released thru Amazon on October 30th of 2015. And I know how it feels to read a good review from a book that it’s not yet out there to get your hands on… so…

I can’t wait anymore. So here it is, with all my love to Mandi. And with this words to her, I leave you with the review of “I Am Mercy”: Mandi… You better get me some Garren on your next book!!

[Book Review] Contrive: To Create or Bring About by Jay Hope

Two for the price of one” *laugh a little* Hi everyone. Two reviews in one day? What’s up with that? I just have to put this out there too and the fact that I couldn’t upload last week due to internet breaking down *growls softly because of it*

This is a book that I just couldn’t help myself and bought as soon as I found the author on Instagram. The premise was very good and I needed something military so I went for it after little thought about the price… of course… I don’t always do that.

What finally drove me to it was that Jay Hope posted a picture of the tittle for the 5th installment of this series and I just have to read that when it’s done because I just LOVE bad guys points of view.

As soon as I said that I wanted to read it I just knew I have to get my hands on the complete series, of course. So far just one book but my fingers are itching, so I stay the hell away from Amazon… for now…

[Book Review] Here She Rules by Kat Hollinghead

*Scratch her chin for a few seconds, pondering how to start this review*

Honestly… I didn’t remember this book until I saw it on my Amazon Wish List. It took me a few days to finally purchase the Kindle format of it and I did it because I said to myself “It has 410 pages according to Amazon, it has to be worth it no matter what“… You’ll see… I’m not afraid to admit that sometimes I can be a little special to spend my money, not saying I’m cheap or something but I think too much when it comes to spending money. This book, was worth it, not a doubt in my mind about it.

[Book Review] The Waiting Room by Alysha Kaye

This is one of those readings that I have been putting it off and putting it off again and again… Why? Because I knew I have to read this slow and it was going to make the damn water dam break… And it did!

The way I got this book was by buying it on Kindle way back in February 2015… Why? Because the lovely Alysha Kaye left a comment on one of my first Book Review post, that’s why.

As soon as I read the blurb of the book I was hooked but I also knew that I wanted to make a review for this reading and I was worried that I would read so fast (eat it up) that the review wouldn’t be good enough. So I waited… and waited… and waited… and finally said “Enough it’s enough, damn it! I have to read it, I want to read it since I bought it so… I will read it before the month it’s up” And so, here we are…
