My Review

Devin is a private investigator on a mission. He happens to be in the right place, at the right time to save Jenny from a blind date. Who would have thought that she was exactly what he needed in his life? Not him, for sure.

Jenny is a teacher that took the chance and went on a blind date. The guy ended up being a creepy dude and thank God for Devin that showed up at the right time to save the night. Speaking of Devin, he was just what she needed in more than one way.

What I liked:

Devin taking the time from his assignment to check on a woman that sounded like she could be in trouble. Not many men would leave what they were doing and jump into a situation to save a stranger. I’m glad he did it.

The date! OMG! That was the cutest and sexiest date ever. I still can’t get over it. Even with what happened he made good, more than good, to his promise of a date with Jenny.

What I Didn’t Like:

I knew that this was a short story. I knew it was insta-love. I didn’t like the fact that it felt rush to me. It left a weird taste in my mouth.

This is not my first insta-love short story but that just make it worst. I know it could have been better, but at the same time I know that this is my own opinion and than other people loved it.

I would recommend this book to those that like insta-love, unrealistic situations and short stories. That being said, I’m going to read the reast of the books by Katy Winters just because of this one.
