My Review

My first introduction to Ava Martell’s work was with Lucifer. I loved him to pieces so I had to read the next book in the series. I’m here to tell you all about Michael, the Archangel.

Elissa and Michael’s story is out of this world incredible and fascinating. The twists and turns these two characters have to go through are intense and they require skills. It’s not enough they haven’t seen each other for a very long time or that they have feelings for each other, there is a darkness lurking around and they need to figure it out.

Some minor things make this book not my favorite in the series. I won’t get into details because of spoilers but, who can win over Lucifer? I don’t know, but Michael was close enough.

The writing it’s outstanding but what keeps me reading is how much I can see this Heaven and Hell kind of fray taking place. I can relate completely to situations, characters, and people, even though I haven’t and won’t live what they have.

That’s the main reason why I will recommend this series to anyone that crosses my way. Start with Lucifer and go down from there. I can assure you, there’s a lot you will discover about yourself in the process of reading these books.

About the Author

Ava Martell was born on Friday the 13th, but she has always believed in making her own luck and writing her own story. A New England native, she grew up with the words of Stephen King and J.K. Rowling as her companions. A few years ago, she traded the forests of Maine for the streets of Austin, Texas. A change of scenery always changes your story, and on a trip to New Orleans, the Fire From Heaven series was born.
