My Review
This is a quick smoking-hot story about a guy that walked into a pizzeria and found the one in the pretty lady half-owning the place. The author explained it greatly on the blurb: “Short and filthy-sweet, it’s the perfect 1-hour lunch break read!“
What I Like:
- Matteo was a wonderful man. The way he treated Mirabella and how he didn’t let her go was beautiful. Also, he continuously uplifts her no matter what her past was or what she might be feeling about herself.
- Mirabella as the main female character was empowering. I would have loved seeing more background for her story but she was a tough pizza crust on the inside. She stands up to her brother was cute and shocked him, which was funny.
- The steamy scenes were great and I completely devour them in no time at all. Not only that but the fact that there were chapters talking about how the future went for the couple, I love those types of details.
What I Didn’t Like:
- I knew what I was getting into but at the same time, it was just a wild ride. At moments I disconnected because it was too unrealistic and fast for me, even though I believe in love at first glance.
I would recommend this book to anyone that needs a quick hot read to spend their break on. It was easy to read, melting hot, and very entertaining. I also would say that’s it’s kind of binge-worthy because I’ve started book 2 in this series already.
