MY REVIEW
I want to support new authors so I got this book on KU and read it there, even after reading it in the ARC version. It’s a small little thing but anything is good to help new authors.
Kara wrote a good steamy erotic story, there is no doubt in my mind about that. She also is probably going to get even better, so watch out.
Natalie need a job A-S-A-P because her douche of an ex left her and she has to pay rent. So tries for a PA job at her fathers law firm.
Gavin has been working for Natalie’s father for a long time. He is ahead of his game and law and behold, the PA position she is trying for, is going to put them at work together. If she get’s it.
The structure was there and also the characters that were developed enough to make you feel the feels when they got together… Well, all except Craig. I don’t know where he came from because I felt like he was there so Gavin had a reason to fight somebody over Natalie.
Now, honesty is my policy here and I want to let you know that I finished this book but it felt unfinished for some reason. I understand we are dealing with a spanking new author here but I don’t know if it was just me but something was missing.
Also, looking at the blurb you could think that this is a menage romance when in reality is not. Craig is there to make use of the perks but Gavin is the one in charge. He even tells Craig that Natalie is his and only his.
That being said, this is supposed to be a quick erotic and it was. Throw in there a hot temporary menage in the office and you have yourself a winner.
I hope to see more of Kara Owen’s work in the future. This was a steamy good start. I enjoyed the sexy erotic read and I hope you do too if you decide to pick this book up.
