My Review

Finn is a single dad that’s raising his daughter Wendy the best he can. He also wants to go back and give his biggest dream a try, and that dream was to work in the Rodeo. When Wendy’s teacher tells him that she should be moved to a better private school, one that’s an hour away, he doesn’t want to listen. When the said teacher becomes the nanny, he can’t keep her out of his mind.

Callie is living her best life of sorts, she just got her dream job in New York and will be moving there soon enough but before she could move, she needed to deal with the fact that her landlord got her out before it was time. She refused to go back to her parents home so she decided to go on with the offer to Finn of being Wendy’s nanny for a while. She was not counting on falling in love with the single dad and the little girl.

I loved the character development in this book, especially on Finn’s side of things. Totally hated how he did what he did, but at the same time… nop. Hated him for it until he made it right in the best way possible. I’m not getting into details because of spoilers.

The story was well written and told in a cute way involving Wendy almost every time. Having the child being part of the development of the adult couple was very endearing to me. I would hope some other authors could do it as seemingly as this two did.

I would recommend this book to those that love cowboy romances mixed with millionaires. I also would recommend it because the message was beautiful. Simple but beautiful.

About the Author

Mary Sue Jackson is the romance pen name created for all those cowboy dreamers! This Montana-based cowgirl is a rancher, and knows what hard work means. But despite being up at dawn and working past dusk, she still finds time for what she really loves… romance! With so many hours spent alone, riding across the seemingly never-ending expanse of grasslands, she has plenty of time to dream of love and the romantic tales of ranch life.

When Mary Sue’s not out on the grasslands dreaming up her next story, she’s most often spending time with her own personal hunky rancher, her husband. One of Mary Sue’s favorite activities is to ride the ranch with her husband in the evening and hold his hand as they watch the sun go down over the prairie.
