My Review

Sophie moved from her town 10 years ago because she couldn’t deal with the memories of the boy that was her whole life and left her without a backward glance or an explanation. Now she’s back because her father needs her and running into HIM it’s just inevitable.

Brandon left the love of his life 10 years ago and none a day has gone by that he didn’t miss her. Now she’s back in town to help her father and he will prove to her that he’s the one for her, but first, he needs to apologize for leaving in the way he did. That is if she let him talk when he’s in her presence.

My first book by Laura Westbrook and I have to say that I enjoy myself the whole way through. I was warned that this was a clean sweet romance but still I had a smile on my face almost the entire time I was reading.

The characters are well crafted and relatable. The world doesn’t need much building because it’s a contemporary novel but still, the author did a very good job and made me feel like everything was actually happening in a small town.

I would have loved to see more drama happened with Orlando, or that he would be more a trouble maker for Sophie in some ways, but that’s just my personal brain looking for problems to ensue so the hero can have more chances to show off *laugh*

Recommended? Definitively yes. If you like clean sweet and kind of short romances you can go wrong with Coming Home by Laura Westbrook.

Disclaimer: I received a digital ARC copy from the author. This is my unbiased and personal opinion about the story.
