My Review
My first time reading a Sue Lyndon story and I have to say I had a great time.
Alien romances from new to me authors are not exactly my cup of tea most days but something attracted me from the blurb of this book and I’m so happy I follow my gut and picked it up to read. It was exactly what I needed at the time and I can’t complain much because it touched most of the things I like about Daddies in romances.
The characters were simple but well rounded. The backstory was there and I was glad that the author took the time to write that information down because empty characters annoy me to no end. It was a short-ish story so there wasn’t much character development but it was enough to see everyone as they really were.
I had no problem with breezing through the book, from beginning to end, in one sitting. Once I got going I didn’t stop and I’m glad because that means the author kept me engaged and entertained.
The only thing I didn’t like was the climax of the story because it came out of nowhere. I was expecting the other aliens to be a problem or something, not what happened. Not at all. I felt a little cheated even though it kind of, sort of made sense.
