My Review
You should know this is book #6 in The Dom’s of The Cage Series by P. Nelson. It’s totally safe to read it out of order but it’s easier to understand if you did read the others first, because there is an underlining issue that readers of the series have been following, besides the romantic couples stories.
I’m really happy to finally see a book about Master Flynn and Calla. I know there’s one before this one but I wanted a full story and this book made that real for me.
As is a norm, for what I can tell, from P. Nelson’s books, the character development goes right along with the romance. I saw a lot of growth in both of them during the book and I love to see how things developed between this couple. It was about time that Master Flynn said to her that he loves her.
It was especially nice to see the development of the main plot of the series. When the big plot twist was revealed I was left kind of with my mouth hanging open. I loved it!
There were three things that I was not very happy about in this book. Two of them I can tell you about, the other I won’t because of spoilers.
- I got a copy of this book from Kindle Unlimited (after reading my ARC copy), thinking that the grammar mistakes wouldn’t be there anymore. To make it short: they were.
- This next one is a little confusing. I liked how the big climax thing was done but at the same time, I felt that it was a little unrealistic. I saw how much the author tried to make it so with the great description but it wasn’t enough. I didn’t completely buy into Calla not getting “sick” sooner.
I would totally recommend this book and this whole series. I enjoy this author’s work, no matter what, the characters are worth almost everything for me. If you like BDSM stories and an underlining mystery and suspense, this whole series is for you.
