Synopsis (From Goodreads)
For years, I lived with him as roommates. Then, one fateful night, things changed. We became more. So much more. The sex was out of this world. Being his boy was the highlight of my day. Until feelings started to creep in and sex wasn’t enough for me. Afraid of losing him, I kept quiet and hoped for a miracle… Could my Daddy love me, too? Or would I continue to be his boy… his play toy?

My thoughts on His Boy
WARNING: This May have spoilers. You’ve been warned.
I got the audiobook version of the story so this review it’s mostly about the way this book made me feel during and after it. Another thing, this is the first story I got my hands on by Bink Cummings and so happens to be a LGBT book, so good for me *wink*
Now, going into the review I have to say the narrators, Nick J. Russo and Dorian Bane, were amazing, their voices were perfect for this story, at least in my humble opinion, and I loved it even more when it was Justin’s or Bonez’s that Dorian Bane was doing because… *swooning* so deep and with a rumble that made my knees go weak. I urge you to go listen to the Sample Version of the audiobook on Amazon and tell me I’m wrong.
The story in itself was greatly done in the MM Erotic Romance genre because there is no other way to say it. Not only it was a good love story between roommates, it was also a good love story in the overall sense. No insta-love *does cater-wheels*
Asher was sweet, full of feelings that he tried to keep to himself. He really did the hard work or trying to not fall in love with Justin, but in my opinion that was just doomed from the beginning because honestly… Who wouldn’t fall in love with a man who see that you are seek, and goes to help you get better by getting naked in bed with you, so the fever will go away, and by doing so prevents your teeth from falling out because they are clattering so hard against one another?
Justin as a character is amazing. He can be my Daddy anytime he wants, seriously. Leaving the fact that he said he was grateful that Asher didn’t mix feelings between them, I think he is caring, loving, protective, all the things a good Daddy needs to be. He just is the perfect match for Asher and the most adorable part is that he is possessive as fuck and doesn’t understand that he loves Asher. He is totally in denial *laughs softly remembering*
In this book you see how a relationship develops over time, including the hotter than hell sex scenes that just melt me into a puddle of human being. I’m a girl but give me a break, it was just so well done that I can’t imagine myself not listening to the scenes again in the future *blush a little* One thing I like about MM erotica is that I can always count with the good sex scenes that don’t sound or read as forced as some regular MF stories that I’ve read over time. You probably know what I mean. The sex in this book it all around it, but hey *shrugs with a big smile* It’s erotica, it kind of comes with the territory… or genre *wink*
When it comes to writing itself I can’t say much because I just didn’t pay much attention to sentences or anything like that while listening to the audiobook. I do have to say it was done in First Person because sometimes it was Asher telling the story and others it was Justin.
Something I have to add is that the narrative was engaging. It felt like the characters were speaking directly to me during the whole story. Even the epilogue was done in this fashion and let me tell you: I wish with all my heart that Jake and Bonez get their book because that story would be hilarious and amazing at the same time *prays to whomever is in charge that Bink Cummings write the story*
By the way… Asher is right, worms are not tasty *makes a funny face because just the thought is disgusting to her*
Now… Do you have any comments to add to my review? Have you read this book?
