My Review

To be completely honest I don’t know what I was expecting. from Queen Takes Darkness. This Aima Queen a completely new character, even though we learned of her existence in Queen Takes Triune.

Helayna Ironheart has been trapped in darkness for far too long. A God kidnapped her and brought her to the roots of the World Tree. She had the power to get free but what would happen if she did?

I’m happy to say I enjoyed this book very much. Like I said at the beginning, I didn’t know what I was expecting but now I want to know more about her and see her blood explored the world for the first time.

Joely Sue Burkhart wrote this story to introduce us to this new set of characters and she did a great job. The writing was on point as usual and the new type of Blood was awesome.

Being a short story I won’t go into details because I can slip into spoilers. Sufficient to say you don’t need to read the whole series to enjoy this particular book but I would recommend you read the previous books too.

I totally recommend this book and Their Vampire Queen Series by Joely Sue Burkhart. If you love vampires, reverse harem stories and old God’s with hidden agendas, you probably will love this book.
